Teaching style

I use a style where the main emphasis is on client communication in the meeting .

That means that client talking time is always the main focus whether it is in a large group or a one to one meeting. To help this happen I use a number of techniques, many of which are taken from my experience in coaching.

I am also there to provide the situation or setting where the client feels comfortable and relaxed and is able to experiment with the language, try it out, see if they can use it.

Improving listening skills are also a very important aspect which need to be focussed on, as many different types of English are in use today.

So listening to CD`s, using podcasts or watching short DVD`s are one way to condition your senses to the sound of English in use.

Here are some listening material to help you and give you some idea of the type of material I consider helpful and use.

Writing emails, reports or presentations can be improved by using real work brought in by the student or by looking at case studies.
