Education and Training
Studied Social Sciences at Sheffield University, before founding a successful clothing company in the UK and Europe.
From 1998 onwards specialised as a Business English Trainer after completing the teacher training course CELTA and then taught English in the UK at Anglo Continental Language School and at Bournemouth and Poole College. In 2004 returned to Frankfurt am Main, Germany.
In 2004, Bill Child joined ELTAF, which is a regional professional organization for teachers of English as a foreign language and is based in the Rhine-Main-Neckar area.After being responsible for professional development and advertising in 2009, he became the new chairman in 2011.
Professional development is something that is very important for all professional trainers and over the last seven years Bill Child has taken part in a variety of courses including;

- 2003 CELTA Teaching Certificate in Bournemouth UK
- 2005 Business Coaching course at the Frankfurt Fachhochshule.
- 2008 Teacher Trainer course at NILE in Norwich UK.
- 2008 Inter cultural Studies with Jeremy Comfort from York Associates.
- 2009 Presenting in English Course with Erica Williams in Frankfurt am Main.
- 2009 Improvisation Theatre workshop with Keith Johnstone in Denmark.
- 2009 Theatre workshop at the Frankfurt Interkuturelle Bühne Frankfurt.
- 2010 Improvisation Drama with Parviz Barid in Frankfurt
- 2010 Pyschologie in Organisationen at Goethe University Frankfurt.
